Week at a Glance 4/8 - 4/12 End of Trimester 5

4th and 5th grade preparing to view a partial solar eclipse on Monday April 8

Hello and welcome to the new week!

Dear Families and Friends of SJA,

This past Sunday was a special one because it was both the Annunciation, and the Sunday of the Cross. On this one day, we contemplate the beginning and the end of Christ's story on Earth. As Father Philipp reminded our school recently during morning prayers, both events demonstrate God's great love! As a school it is a chance for us to think about what has been accomplished over this past academic year, its beginning is now far removed and its end drawing close. Looking at our students I am amazed at their growth, physically watching them get bigger and stronger, and academically watching them master new skills. The year goes by quickly! But Christ's story helps us to reflect on where we have come from and where we are going.

To His Great Love,

Nima Duncan
