3. Teacher/Parent Communication

Scheduled parent / teacher meetings


All teachers will normally arrange to meet with parents once per academic semester, in a scheduled parent/teacher meeting. Such meetings aim to provide both teachers and parents with a regular opportunity to discuss student performance, achievements, concerns or other matters.

These meetings will be arranged by the teachers, either directly or through the school office.

Informal parent / teacher meetings


Parents are encouraged to contact teachers whenever there is a question, query, problem or concern regarding a student's grade, class performance, etc. Parents may call the school office to make an appointment to meet with the student's teacher as the need presents itself. Regular phone conferences and letters are encouraged. 

Progress reports


Progress reports will be sent by teachers and mailed home to parents whenever a teacher is concerned about a student's behavior or academic performance.
