15. Student community service

Commencing with 6th grade, students of the Saint John of San Francisco Orthodox Academy are required to perform community service as part of their upbringing as conscientious Christian young people. The minimum requirement for each student is 30 hours per school year (the equivalent of 3 hours per month of the school year). Students who complete more than 100 hours of community service can qualify for a special award at the end of the school year (see: St Elizabeth Award).

Help your children become enthusiastic and complete their community service! Send them to Student Materials > Community Service
