14. Honor Roll & Awards

An honor roll will be announced during the promotional exercise at the end of the school year. It is the purpose of the honor roll and the awards program to bring attention and recognition to the achievements of individual students, and to help the students recognize and appreciate the merits and achievements of others.

To attain eligibility for the honor roll, a student must have attained an "A" average with GPA of 3.75 or higher for the semester, beginning with fourth grade. Maintaining an "A" average throughout the entire school year will result in the Academic Achievement Award. Straight "A's" will result in the Academic Excellence Award. Other prizes and awards will be granted during year-end promotional/graduation ceremonies.
