Today, the Feast day of St Bede and of the third finding of the precious head of St John the Baptist, marks the twentieth anniversary of the consecration to the episcopacy of His Eminence our Archbishop Kyrill of Seattle and Western America. As head of the Diocese of Western America, it has been under Archbishop Kyrill's omophor that St. John's Academy has lived and grown for many years, and we congratulate him today on the anniversary of his calling to episcopal service, grateful to God for his care for our diocese and school.

To mark the occasion, a letter of congratulations was sent to His Eminence from the Academy's Principal (Hieromonk Irenei) and Dean of Students (Mr. Seraphim Winslow).

Archbishop Kyrill will join the teachers, students and families of St. John's Academy for our Promotional Ceremonies, to take place this Thursday evening, June 9th, at 7.00 p.m. Please join us for this evening in celebration of the past year of study and service at the Academy.

May the Lord grant His servant and our archpastor many, many years!
