St. John's end-of-year commencement and promotional ceremony will take place this year on Thursday, 9th June 2011 from 7.00 p.m. in the Large Hall. (Note: All students must be in school, in uniform, by no later than 6.30 for seating, instruction, etc.)
The commencement and promotional ceremony is a major annual event in the life of St. John's, during which students are promoted from one grade level to the next, and awarded for their academic, spiritual and community achievements over the past year.
This year, the middle- and high-school dramatic production will also be staged during the ceremonies, allowing parents, families, guests and participants to see some of the wonderful work undertaken by students at the Academy during the year.
Our commencement and promotional ceremony is an open public event, and not only do we invite family, friends, parishioners and supporters of our students to attend, but also any guests and visitors who would like to see the school honour its students and teachers, with an opportunity to meet faculty and staff and current St. John's families.
For further details, or with any questions about the evening, please contact our school office. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating with you on the 9th of June!
