St. John's Academy is having its spring Open House this coming Monday, 21st March 2011, from 6.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. in the large and small halls of the school (beneath the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin, Joy of All Who Sorrow - 6210 Geary Boulevard). The Open House is an opportunity for our students and teachers to showcase the talents and achievements of our school community, with displays, presentations and other items prepared for the evening.

We warmly invite any and all to attend this informal evening, at which light refreshments will be served and opportunities provided to meet with teachers and administration of St. John's, to see first-hand what life in the school is all about, and experience something of a 'taste' of St. John's Academy.

If you are a parent considering St. John's for your child's enrollment for next school year, this Open House is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the school, and meet a great number of the teachers and others who make it the place that it is.

Parent-Teacher Meetings, Combined with the Open House

If you a parent of a currently-enrolled student, you will be happy to learn that we're coupling together our Semester 2 parent-teacher conference evening with this Open House, allowing you to engage in both activities without having to arrange for two evenings in the Academy.

All teachers at the Academy will be on site from 5.30 p.m. on Monday evening for open parent-teacher conferences: simply come into the school, and you can meet with all your child's teachers and discuss academic progress, spiritual growth, or any other issues.
