As no parents objected to the proposed date and time, we can now confirm that a special meeting for parents of students in 6th-9th grades will take place on Tuesday, 4th May at 7.00 p.m. Parents of students in these grades: please mark your calendars now!

This will be an important meeting, to discuss practical affairs regarding middle- and high-school life at St. John's. 6th-9th grades (and particularly 7th and 8th grades) are periods of transition for young people in education: the transition to the end of elementary level schooling, into middle and high school.

As your children are going through this transition, or coming up to it, we at St. John's want to make sure we are doing everything we can to provide the ideal environment and resources to your family. Our meeting will be an opportunity to discuss new plans afoot for our middle- and high-school programs, as well as to address any thoughts and/or concerns parents may have as their children reach these critical points. Our principal, Fr. Irenei, will chair the meeting and lead a discussion on what can be done to develop our programs and ensure that the school meets the needs and expectations of our students and families at these higher levels.

We hope to have full attendance from all our parents of children in these grades, so we can take on board the thoughts all of you have, and work together to provide an enthusiastic, top-notch environment and education for our middle and high school students next year!

If you have any questions, please contact the school office at any time.
