Dear friends,

We are pleased to announce that His Eminence Kyrill, Archbishop of San Francisco and Western America, will soon ordain a much-needed third priest for the Holy Virgin Cathedral. Sergey S. Kiriukhin has been teaching at Holy Trinity Seminary and will be arriving in San Francisco in the next week or so with his wife and five children, ages 13 and down. Shortly after arriving he will be ordained into priesthood.  Four of the five children are of school age and they will be joining the student body of St. John's Academy.

The Russian American Community Services (RACS) is collecting funds to help assist with the Kiriuhin family's move. Donations of such as furniture, furnishings, and schooling supplies for the family are much needed as well. Please contact Click here to contact the RACS. The Kiriuhin's moving van should arrive this Friday, September 14th. Help is needed unloading the van as the newly arrived Fr. Sergei injured a foot right as preparations were being made for the move. Please see Mr. Thompson if you can help unload the van.
