With the blessing of Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, the Holy Virgin Cathedral will be hosting its fifth annual Orthodox Lenten Retreat on Sunday, April 3.

The program begins with the Divine Liturgy (in English) at 7:30 a.m. Following breakfast, special guest speaker Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov, pastor of All Saints Church in Moscow, missionary, teacher and author will present two talks: "The Meaning of Asceticism and the Study of the Ascetic Fathers in the Life of Lay Christians" and "The Mystery of Marriage and the Life of a Christian Family that Follows."
