Field day, Spring 2013, ended up being our best so far!  In spite of initial worries that the inclement weather would keep our activities indoors, the fog and cool weather actually turned out to add a bracing and inspirational advantage to the day's activities.

The Great Houses spent the day competing gleefully with one another in games like the 100-yard dash, the tennis ball kick, the spoon-egg race, the balloon toss, the hula hoop relay, the tennis-ball-into-bucket-toss, the leapfrog relay, and - everyone's favorite - tug-o-war!  The final tie between the Houses of Constantinople and Alexandria was broken with an end of day game of Mountain Ball in which the House of Constantinople emerged victorious. This win actually helped to seal the ultimate victory for the House of Constantinople in the overall, year-long struggle between the Great Houses.  Congratulations, Constantinople!
