On May 29th, the entire school celebrated the coming close of the school year with a Field Day in Golden Gate Park. The three houses of Alexandria, Constantinople, and Jerusalem competed against each other in such activities as a three-legged race, egg-cup race, passing the egg with no hands, kickball, and tug-of-war. The winning house at the Field Day was Constantinople, who also won the overall competition for the semester in the categories of logos (academics), sophia (good behavior), and agape (consideration for others). The prize for Constantinople’s victory was a day off school for the house members and admission to a water theme park in San Jose.
