A letter from the Dean of Students on Stanford Tests (26-30 April)

Dear Parents of St. John's Academy Pupils in the Third through Eighth Grades,

Next week (26th-30th April 2010) will begin this year's battery of Stanford-10 Achievement Tests. Your child will be spending several days in class taking these tests. The Stanford-10 Achievement Test is a nationally recognized test, used by educators across the country. As a norm-referenced test, the Stanford-10 not only offers the educators and parents information on their pupil's achievement, it also provides comparisons based on nationwide test results. These tests offer us a great opportunity to assess a pupil's knowledge and academics skills in reference to the national average.

I am willing to respond to any further questions you may have about the Stanford-10 Achievement Tests.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Seraphim Winslow
Dean of Students
St. John of San Francisco Orthodox Academy
